Host -> Host Settings (page sits at loading - no errors, no events)
Host -> Modules Definitions (Create or Edit don't display, page postsback but nothing happens)
Admin -> Site Settings (same).

All other pages load fine.

I've installed DNN4.08.02 from scratch three times now and keeping getting the same issues. After the install everything works fine until I load my first module.  The module is LinqThings4Sale using DotNetNuke with LINQ data provider.  The module works fine and I've review the web.config file several times but can't seem to find why certain pages won't load.

No errors are generated so I'm not sure where to go.

BEFORE you install the LinqThigs4Sale module you have to upgrade the web.config to ASP.NET 3.5. The best way is to open the Site using Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Web Developer Express 2008 and allowing it to upgrade the site to ASP.NET 3.5.

Thanks Michael.  Would opening the project in VWD2005 convert it back to .NET 2.0?  BTW, great article.

No VS2005 will not convert it back, BUT you can tell VS 2008 to convert it back to asp.net 2.0 (go into properties and then build)
