I have a new DNN site up, pre-launch address to test the issue described below is http://www.stjohnrochester.us/church.aspx.

The search will work for a single word, but not multiple words. For example, Pastor will find 7 pages of results. Senior will find the same. Senior Pastor finds nothing. "Senior Pastor" (quoted) finds nothing. Senior+Pastor finds nothing.

How can I configure this or have DNN re-crawl the site to make this work?

There is no configuration necessary.  It's a matter using proper syntax (though not widely known) in the search input. 

If you are searching for pages that must contain both the term senior and the term pastor, the search syntax is to enter "+senior +pastor"  without the quotes and with a plus in front of each word and separated by a space.
