I get a timeout in the GUI when giving a role to all users by enabling the "Auto Assignment?" function in the role settings. Until I get the timeout about 6000 users gets the role but then DNN stops assigning this role to users and gives me a timeout error.

I guess it is because I have 55000 registered users and it takes a while.

Does anyone have an idea, tip or suggestion what I can do to make it work to give all users a role with this built in function?

Or should I look for a role setting using other procedures, if so how?

My web is DNN 482 on a single dedicated DELL server, IIS 6, only one portal, dual core AMD, 2Gb ram, SQL2005 express, Mirroring raid on SAS 15k drives, no other applications is running. Event log and Site log is disabled, no scheduler applications is running when I do this.
