Hello,

I'm using the Whats New module on a home page (DNN 4.8.2). I recently updated an Event Calendar Module title, hit the What's New Module's Refresh, and the resulting Whats New display is as it has always been, i.e. displaying the original Event Calendar title on a weekly recurring event that is scheduled out to May 2009.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Thanks,

Jack

Hi Jack,

What version of the Events module are you using? There is a change in the forthcoming 4.0.1 which I think will fix this, but I'm not sure how What's New works in detail. Bear in mind What's New uses the site search for it's date, so if the search schedule hasn't run, then there will be no changes shown anyway.

Cheers
Roger

Roger,

Thanks for replying to my post. Here are the answers to your questions:

1. Whats New Module Version: 03.03.00

2. Looks like the Search Engine Scheduler is enabled (under Host...Schedules):

DotNetNuke.Services.Search.SearchEngineScheduler, DOTNETNUKE Enabled Every 30 Minutes Every 60 Minutes 6/19/2008 8:41:59 AM

Thanks for your reply.

The  Advanced Settings, Cache Time (secs) : parameter is 60 (the default).  Also, all the Whats New? Settings  are default (blank or not-checked).

Jack
