Hello all,

Why I go to "Restart Application" I get the following error: Sys.Webforms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server.  The status code returned from the server was: 500"

Anybody know how to repair this?  I Installed Catalook Cart Trial yesterday and then uninstalled it today, then installed AliCommerce Cart today and tried to restart and got the error.

I can't say I've seen that error, you might check to see if you try running the browser on the same web server, try that process and see what you get for an error message.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for the reply.  The web pages load fine in the browser otherwise.  I did install the new Web Controls the other day, and had problems with that to the point of replacing the WebControls.dll back to an older version.  Does anybody know what files I could try and replace that would be affected by this action?  I don't want to replace everything as I have an operational site right now that i don't want to lose.

Sorry, if you load the browser on the web server and try to "restart application" do you get a more detailed error message?

Unfortunately no.  I am running the browser on the web server machine and the erro comes up in a pop-up box.
