I have just added the latest DNN forum to my site at www.mawhitfield.net and after adding 2 new forums and posting one entry to one and 2 entries to the other (which I subsequently deleted as they were test entries), I now get the errors below. This keeps occurring despite the fact that the error message says 'currently unavailable'?

I guess my first question is 'Has this been seen before and can be resolved easily?'. Is there someway to reset a forum or refresh it or from this point on, is the module corrupted (tables etc.)? If required, how would I de-install and subsequently re-install.

Errors...

Why did you not search first in this forum.  I have posted serveral time to this issue.  If it is it.  More detailed error meassage from the event log in admin section would on all issues you posted very helpful.

You can solved this in most situations with going as the user in the "my settings"  adding subscribtion to all forums save and restart the application (in Host Settings).  Then try to post with this user account, if it work now unsubscribt the forum notification in "My Settings".

Apologies Matthias. I did do a quick search but didn't understand the answer until now. This appear to have resolved the problem. Cheers. I will be a little more detailed next time.

If one of my users encounters the same problem, is there a quick way I can login as them. That is, should I ask for their password so I can carry out the same procedure or do I ask them to subscribe to all forums first and then re-start the application. This time round, the problem was with the HOST account so no problems me carrying out the procedure.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers MARK.
