I am looking to create an intigration point between this forum module and http://community-credit.com and was wondering if there is an event or way to know when a new post has been submitted?  I would like to create a module that when added to the site catches each post and then makes a webservice call to the community credit site with the users email address and gets them credit for the post.

Any ideas?

There are several areas to 'hook' into for point rewards. I have hooked the module into our own Rewards API, but that is internally developed and is not using a third party service. However, in doing this what you have to know is that the PostToDataBase() method in Forum_PostEdit.ascx.vb is the first place to look but mind you there is a concern here to only reward if the post is approved (and a new post and not an edit). The second place would be in the PostsModerate class (can't remember exact name right now) when the "Approve" or "Reply" or "Edit" command occurs in the event handler.
