The problem of the width of the menu items on first load in FF gets solved with the following statements:

.MainMenu_RootMenuItem TD:not([width]), .MainMenu_RootMenuItemActive TD:not([width])
<
width:1px;

> (replace with curly brackets)

This (CSS3 spec) statement targets firefox (and Safari) only and not IE. Source: http://www.digital-web.com/articles/CSS_not_hacks/

It worked for me...

Do you mean I append that code to the solpart menu in the skin file? Exactly what and where.
