Timo,

Yes this still happens in a page empty of modules. Also, notice on the skin maker's demo page for this skin - that goes wide too! I guess I looked at it under ie before I went with it.

Will,

This plain old CSS, so just add it to your skin.css .It looks a bit strange, because it is CSS3. Hardly nobody uses it, because IE does not support it.

My problem was, that if I specify a width for the menu table cell IE does not play nice. So I resorted to this construct that works in FF

Thanks Peter - it did not work though. This is what I saw after I tried your change to skin.css. Here is the skin file with the addition.

I feel like Ahab and the gold is still tacked to the mast. AAAHHHHrrrrrr!

Finally I think I got the whale! Firefox 3 seems to have solved this issue. How? I have no idea. So I guess the offer is off as now I have FF3 and would not be able to see if suggested changes worked in FF2.

I really appreciate all the help and comments that were suggested on this.
