Not sure where to place this question... Why is the forgor password command placed ourside of the individual providers control set? surely it is only really of use to the DNN provider and shoudl therefore be placed there?
Whilst I don't mind adjusting the core from time to time we are in the position of having a number of mixed authentication mode sites and allowing AD users to have their email sent in plain text is not somthing I( and particularly out main IT dept) don't apreciate.

Are there any other providers other than DNN that currenly require the forgot password command?

Any help would be apreciated

John

I can't say that I really disagree with you and also have to edit the main login.ascx to set the "Forgot Password" link's visibility to false whenever I do an upgrade.

All I can suggest is that you log this as an enhancement on the Public area on Gemini (http://support.dotnetnuke.com).
