this is what my membership looks like in my web.config

Now what?

When they go to forgot password it asks them for a username

than just says this

Password retrieval is disabled on this site. Please contact an administrator for assistance in retrieving your account details.

Which is fine and all
But I just want it to reset the password and send them that....

the combination above works fine with the default .net SqlMembershipProvider

Sorry Shane. I remember seeing this post in passing and then forgot about it. I think you also have to have enablePasswordRetrieval set to True as well.

I'm in the same boat. Password Retrieval won't work since we are using a hashed password. Is there a way built into DNN that will do password reset and email the password to the user? Or am I going to have to roll my own?
