Thanks for your input. Most of our page admins do use the editor to upload images to the site. However, after making this change I've had success uploading files through the File Manager and also having them accessible through in the editor as. There is no disconnect for us.

/images folder is not intended to be used for user images, it is reserved for system images only. I strongly suggest to reset to the default path and place all images inside a subfolder of /portals/0/ (if 0 is your portal ID).

Sebastian,

I guess I don't fully understand. Looking directly on the server there are no user images in the system images folder. All user images are located underneath the Portals/0/images directory. I provided a link below to show directory structure on the web server and in File Manager. Why if set to the default path the text editor does not see these images?
