I have had my posts answered and have not yet figured out how to mark the answering post as the accepted answer.

How is this done?

Thanks much,

Clyde

Accepted Answer

If you are the author of a thread you should see a drop down above the text response window which allows this selection.

Are you talking about the dropdown list in the original post header that has "None Specified", "Unresolved", "Resolved", and "Informative"

That is the only dropdown list I see and evidently that is the one because I just selected Resolved and the reply is marked as the accepted answer.

What if there are multiple answers before the user gets back?

I guess I don't know that much about the forum yet, but I will learn.

Thanks much

I think I just figured it out.

I.  Mark status as Resolved in the drop down list at the top of the original post.

II.  Then view the thread again and if there are multiple replies the replies will have "ACCEPT ANSWER" in red in their title lines.

III.  Cllick on the post that resolved the issue.

Is this correct?  At least that is how it appears to work.

Yup. Sounds about right. I saw you had the green check mark on the post. That effectively makes it a done deal and people will stop responding.
