After copying in all the 4.9 files and editing web.config, I go to http://localhost and I get:

404 Url Not Found
The requested Url (http://localhost/Install/Install.aspx?mode=upgrade) does not return any valid content.

It was working just fine before I put in the 4.9 files etc. and revised web.config.

How do I fix this??

Thank you, Tom

Try reapply the asp.net or network service permissions to all files.

Any other ideas?

Since this site is not live yet, I decided to wait overnight and see if anyone posted any suggestions.

This morning I see that someone has registered on my site. So I logged in as host and it says it is at v 4.9.

But parts of my ASPDNSF cart are not working and throwing errors. I had the site to AutoUpgrade = False, so the only way it could have upgraded was if someone ran the install manually. Right????

I may just restore from my backup just to be sure.

Any thoughts?
