Doh!!! Herkeen, send me an email direct (mhorton@telus.net). I'll flag in in my Outlook as a task so that I don't forget about it again. I did start to work on it but my virtualPC XP install started acting funky and I put it away for the evening with the intention of working on it the next night. Unfortunately it slipped my mind.

Has there been any updates to this issue? I've tried the recommended solution, and cannot make this work.

I've tried in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. The FCKEditor API is undefined error is consistent.

If we are suppose to replace this with an older version can you provide the exact steps.

Thanks in advance.

I tried the FckEditor Dll switching and it worked, however, I got the same exception that was reported regarding Full Trust and/or Classic Mode.

I have IIS 7 on Vista with the Application running in a pool using the Classic Mode with the default configuration for ASP.NET 2.0 which uses Full Trust.

I'm stuck with no way to see if the AD Provider will satisfy my need due to configuration issues.

Any ideas where to look next?

Chris

I ran into this once on a Vista machine when I was setting up a new development VM and wasn't able to find a way around it. I suspect in my case it was because I install IIS after I installed Visual Studio (I had other issues running apps out of visual studio) but because it was time critical that I get it up an running I ended up blowing away the VM and starting over. Is this perhaps something that you did on this Vista machine (or perhaps installed all the different .NET Frameworks (i.e 3.0 and 3.5) before installing IIS)?
