Dear Forum Readers,

How to do localization of the web site menu? I mean automatic translation into for example nl-NL and de-DE by means of clicking the country flag icons. The host web site menu is translated in for example: ~\DotNetNuke\App_GlobalResources\GlobalResources.nl-NL.resx
What kind of entries must I make for my own pages and in what kind of file? Or must I make my own *.resx?

Kind regards,

Johan van der Galiën.

you need a 3rd party component to localize the menu, either PageLocalization from www.apollo-software.nl or free DSLocalizator from dnn.tiendaboliviana or free EALO from Effority, which can be obtained for free from the DNN forge, see icon above.

Dear Sebastian,

Thanks very much!

I tried EALO and it worked reasonable.

TODO:

-Find out how to localize the parent tab because for now I can only do the subtabs and the parent HOME tab

-Find out how to do the trema Dutch and the Umlaut German characters

Kind regards,

Johan van der Galien.
