I am trying to pass 'USER's Locale ' parameter to another external app via query string parameter in IFRAME.

I am using PageLocalization module.   But regardless of what language user has selected on the DNN portal language drop down, My user local query string parameter is always passing value 'US-EN'

How do I pass the language to external APP?  What parameter I should be passing in my IFRAME?  

Why 'User's Locale'    value is not changing?

User's Locale is redived from preferred locale field in the user's profile or, for unauthenticated users, from Site settings.

Thank You for quick reply and explanation.

I want to pass the value of the LANGUAGE drop down box to query string parameter in a IFRAME. 

Is there a way to pass the user selected value of LANGUAGE drop down to IFRAME via query string?

Hi,

Did you find a solution for this?

I need to pass the selected language to my IFRAME.  Visitors to my site are not logging in to the site, they are all unauthenticated.

you would need to create your own iframe module that just gets the value of system.threading.thread.currentthread.currentculture... or request a new feature for the iframe module..
