Hey TreeStump,

Could you post the section of the skin that you're referring to? I think that would help, as I find myself guessing at what exactly you're doing.

Thanks,

Ian

Hey Ian,

Thanks so much for helping...

the code in the html file looks like this:

<

img src="images/advertisingHeader.jpg" style="width: 527px; height: 320px" />

and the code in the ascx file looks like this:

<

img src="<%= SkinPath %>"images/advertisingHeader.jpg" style="width: 527px; height: 320px" />

At the moment with both of this as they are are throwing the code block error.  If I remove the <%= SkinPath %> in the ascx file, I don't get the code block but the image doesn't appear.  Just a broken image...  thoughts?

you have a double quote to many after the skinpath variable.

Peter.

hi,

however i have just found this issue 2 days ago and full with one day trying to see what's going on.

it seems the problem is occured if you don't have content pane.

i put my <div class="cream" id="ContentPane" runat="server"></div> in the skin and all is working fine again.

hope this helps someone.
:)

Sorry for the thread revival, but....Legend! this fixed my skin, the skin would work on my local machine without a ContentPane but once I uploaded it to a dev server the page wouldn't load with the code block error, added the ContentPane id and away it went.

Thanks!
