Hi,

I've been working on integrating a Google map on my website lately and i've figured out the coding aspet but im running into a few problems. In order to save time, i've created KML files containing the markers i want. However to display the KML, the google servers need to have access to them; two things are needed from what i understand:

- The hosting server need to have the MIME type set-up for KML files.

- I need to provide a url in the code :

      var anOverlay = new GGeoXml("www.mydomain.com/googlemapfile.kml");
      map.addOverlay(kml)

My question is how do I set-up the MIME type and also (more importantly) whats the URL for my files? I can upload using a file manager and it gives me the "portal root" but what is the URL for this?? I do not own the server, so i do not know much on DotNetNuke, i simply work for the University using this framework.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
