Does anyone know how to change the little DNN image in the URL?  I just need the name of the file and location so I can replace it with my own image.

That image is called a favicon file, favicon.ico

You can create one with Photoshop (there are ICON plugins for photoshop) then place the file in your Portals/# directory, most likely portals/0

Be sure to leave the file named favicon.ico when you put it in the directory if you want it to be loaded.

You can create a unique ICO file for each portal by putting favicon.ico in their respective root directories.

You can also use this site to create your favicon

Very cool functionality!  However, I cannot find the favicon.ico file where it should be, and uploading it in the indicated locations has not worked. Does anyone know exactly where the file is?

By default there is a favicon.ico file in the root of the DNN directory. However, you should upload the new one to the appropriate portal directory. Not all browsers will pick up a favicon.ico change immediately so you might have to clear your browser cache or try another browser to see the new file.
