I'ev logged a few issues I am having with MobiNuke in this separate thread. The biggest issue is with AJAX and my strategy for mobile module development.

Rodney,

Thanks for the tips and ideas about doing a mobile site in dnn. I'm trying to do the same for my company now, and facing the same design choices you were in the beginning. So what did you end up with? Is it accurate to say that your result is to *not* have a seperate site, but rather, have mobinuke provide alternate views of existing pages in the same portals, via a skin optimized for iphones/mobile?

My goal is to provide a seperate, simple site with features like calendar, sports schedule, staff directory, etc., and a link to the full version of the site (if iphone users want the full experience via zooming). This is all just information-based simple text, and although all this info is provided in various places on the existing site, this would be almost like a new site/portal. Is this what mobinuke is even for? I suppose it might be reasonable (I think) if this "seperate site" were actually alternate versions of those existing pages with modules reskinned.

Thanks in advance,

Derek
