hi

Is it possible to add two news feed modules to a custom module? Reason for asking is that I need to be able to layout two news feeds next to each other in two separate columns. So I thought that if I create a custom module and add in two instances of the News modules into a two column table I would be able to control the layout that I require. But I don't know if it is possible to set the properties of these newsfeed modules at design time.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Martin.

The simple answer is no that is not possible, at present. Now, I'm not exactly sure about why you would need to do this in a custom module at all.  You could always layout two newsfeed modules side-by-side with a custom skin container or just use 2 news modules side-by-side, one in the left or right column and the other in the content column and adjust the widths, using css or other methods.

I will take a look at the custom skin container route. Can't really use the right or left columns as I need both news modules to appear along side each other. If I was to put one in the center col, underneath another module, then if I placed another news module in the right hand columns it would appear at the top I assume, and would not line up with the other news module.

Thanks

Martin.
