Looking at the background colours, this does does not look like the default Extropy skin with DNN5 RC2? Sure the layout looks the same. I don't get this at the moment (with IE7), what are the steps to reproduce?

Thanks....

Alex Shirley

That is a missing image stems from the header widget, which seems to be a rotator. I tried to get it to work, but did not succeed. This skin needs some more work. Especially the widget thingies.

The Extropy skin is intended to be an educational skin to demonstrate how designers can use features such as widgets, super stylesheets and WYSIWYG design. There were some code fixes made in RC2 and I did not get a chance to update the skin in time for release. To make the RotatorWidget work, you need to replace the widget block with the following:

<object id="HeaderRotator" codetype="dotnetnuke/client" codebase="RotatorWidget" declare="declare">
    <param name="height" value="129" />
    <param name="width" value="479" />
    <param name="imageUrl" value="<%=SkinPath %>images/headers/" />
    <param name="imageCount" value="6" />
    <param name="imageTemplate" value="header_0{INDEX}.png" />
    <param name="interval" value="5000" />
    <param name="direction" value="left" />
    <param name="transition" value="snap" />
</object>
