By the way if you already have Events 4.0.2 and it only contains a LastUpdateAt attribute and no LastUpdateBy, then that means the functionality didn't get added until 4.1.0. We've been working on 4.1.0 for quite some time, so I'm beginning to lose when some features were added.

Thanks for the info, Roger.  We're currently running a mixed lot with some 4.6.2 sites and some 4.9 sites -- at the time of my initial thread reply I did not have a 4.9 db readily available for reference.  I'll be updating one of our 4.6.2 sites to 4.9 in the next week so I'll look more closely at that site's installed EVENTS version as well as the latest EVENTS available.

I'm pretty sure you won't fnd LastUpdatedBy in 4.0.2. I'm beginning to remember , I created myself an interim build with it in, because I needed it for an RSS feed on my site. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for 4.1.0 for that.... sorry.
