Hello,

We want to use a folder in Portals/_default for all the images in the portal for all the portals including the child portals. Is it possible to change the "browse Server" for Images to point to that folder? If so how..? Any suggestions...?

Next version will include a feature that allows admins to "mount" forlders into a FCKeditor instance

It will take some time to come.

At this moment, you can create your own gallery (.aspx, ascx and .dll) and point to it in the web.config without touching anything in the provider. Take a look at the gallery code as an example

Hello Mauricio,

 

We are using DNN 4.8.4 and I was looking for the source code for Gallery module but could not find that module in this version of DNN. Where can I find it...? Please let me know. Thanks for your idea.

I was not talkin about the gallery module. I was talking about the image gallery inside the provider

Download the latest available FCKeditor provider source code.

Thanks Mauricio. I was able to figure that but I had only two problems and they are 1)the roles for the user and 2)adding the file to the folder which I want to access from different other child portals. Is there any workaround for this other than disabling the checking of roles before saving files or creating folders and directly adding the file using HttpPostedFile.SaveAs() method ? Any suggestions are welcome.
