according to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/8ck8e1y2.aspx there is no performance difference between /x64 and /anyCPU, since in the second case, the software will be executed by the 64 bit version of .Net (assuming the embedding process is run in 64 bit mode).

Well, I guess, if you build on 32 bit, it works ok on 64 bit ( unless you have written some very specific code ) but vice a versa is not true.

Isn't it safe to write code for 32 bit so it works on both ?
