I'm using a default skin from DNN on my site and the search box has a little DNN icon on it.  Is there any way to remove that or change the icon?  I want to keep the search box, but would like not to have a stray DNN icon on it.  Thanks for any ideas.

John

I've been trying to do this too, with no success.

The closest I've been able to get to getting rid of the DNN icon in the search box is to edit the skin.xml file in my skin to get rid of the drop-down search, and replace it with the old radio buttons as were in DNN 4.8 and before....

I.e.

<Object>

  <Token>[SEARCH]</Token>
- <Settings>
- <Setting>
  <Name>useDropDownList</Name>
  <Value>False</Value>
  </Setting>

I would like to be able to use the search drop-down with my own choice of icon though. Any better suggestions?

The actual icon image is stored in /images/search/dotnetnuke-icon.gif  - I would replace this, except that I have multiple portals, and I wouldn't want them all to have the same icon.

I have not tried this, just looked at the source quickly. Anyway, try SiteIconURL
