The default for the events module shows all events in the database. I was wondering if it is possible to assign events to a user, and when that user signs into the website and goes to the page with the events calendar, they will only see their events?

Our thoughts on implementing this would be to use a client id based on the logged in user to filter the calendar events. This would be for registered users only. Resource views would be great; they would be used to reserve room space, which would need a room capacity that wouldn't allow any more events once the room is full.

We are currently using the events module that comes with the latest release, would getting any of the latest beta's be useful to us? We noticed the source code wouldn't be available until it is release as a DNN module.

After looking through the source for the latest events release we think we've found where to implement the individual calendars. In the all the procedures to get the events (ex: EventsGetByRange), it appears adding an additional parameter for the logged in UserId, and then adding a filter on that UserID. Then of course adding the field to the events database, and making sure each call to the procedure passes that parameter. We are looking at testing this ourselves here, and just wanted to get a read on what you thought about this, or if you notice any major flaws.
