I bought a skin and don't know which folder to install the unzipped files. I also don't know if I need to take the files out of the folders "Skins" and "Containers" either. Please advise of any instructions or give me a clue. I can upload them through Godaddy back end if I knew where to put them. I can probably install them through the front of DNN, but there again I am not sure where they go.

Thanks Richard

You should be able to upload the skin and container through DNN.   With the host account, you can perform this through the Host/Skins menu option (for host level skins), or under the Admin/Skins option for skins to be applied on a specific portal.    On these pages, you should see the control (small triangle), that will display the menu for uploading.

If you only have admin level access, this upload is possible if upload of skins by the admin was enabled on the host settings page.

Skins uploaded through host are addeded under the .... portals/_default/Skins folder
Containers upload through the host screen are under the portals/_default/Containers folder

Skins uploade through the admin/skins screen are under portals/(portal ID)/Skins folder
Containers uploded through the admin/skins screen are under the portals/(portal ID)/Containers folder

I tried uploading the new image but it wil not override the old one for some reason. The new file shows up as being in place to replace the old one.

Snowcovered.com will not send me any directions on how to do this correctly. I have even sent them the replacement file and all I get is a notice that this is on their list of todo's now for a week.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks Richard
