As one of many waiting a lengthy time for the DNN forum module to be fixed of the bugs, and having lost a lot of my confidence in this happening anytime soon... I just came across a new forum module here and thought it might be worth a mention.

I've only had a quick look so far, and it looks like a new developer in this area so there's no feedback on Snowcovered, or testimonials etc.  Has anyone else given this a go?

Any quick opinions?

I've just looked over the website myself, and in its forums and it looks very reasonably priced. The look of it is more like other forums and seems to have a reasonable set of features.

I'm actually unaware of what features a current 'top of the line' forum software package might have (not DNN) but more than anything I would like to see an inexpensive forum option that does do what it says on the box... something I've not yet had!

Hi,

i have bought this forum. It still contains some bugs, but in V3 it look great out of the box and i think most functions are working. I altough have tested the comunity Version of Active Forum and I´am not a friend of this software. Luca from LCBSoftware is very open for new Ideas and willing to implement this features. The LCB Forum has Build in Messager System  and so on. In this early Version some small Bugs are inside but the fixing of this bugs are fast.

I don´t know how well this forum will perform with a lot of people. I think this will show the future

I took over the job to translate the new forums module, but I haven't started yet, but will keep you updated. At first view, it looks promising (and actively under development).

Thanks for that.  I did actually notice with a closer look at the site the releases seemed quite fast. And although they say v3 the module was only first released late in the year.

I think it's also worth mentioning Active Forums, which is certainly another option for DNN which I've seen quite a few use for a while... so I expect it would have very few bugs now.

I'm still waiting to hear what's happening with the DNN Forums module but I really think I should give up after not even getting a response for a good month and being led on for so long.

With SQL I presume there would be an easy enough way to pul posts from the DNN Forums into any of these other Forum options?
