Cathal - I might be wrong but on a clean 4.9.1 install, I can still see the .log files (via Window Explorer) - Are we sure these were deleted or is there something specific in my settings which could be causing this?

I agree with Sanjay, in all our 4.9.0 portals, the dataprovider log files are pertained.

I restored database and file it appears this error:
