I have tried publishing code on version 4.6.0 also but this bug still remains the same. May i know whether this problem will be fixed before DNN 5.0.0 release? Should i deviate from DNN till 5.0.0 version was released? It was highly needed for our projects as we are going to make secured projects with good performance.

Hey only three more subversions to go before we break all the third party modules and fix this :P.

Just wanted to bump this. Just got the error in 4.7. One thing I might request would be some sort of a error page that tells me that precompilled sites(Publishing out of the IDE) is not supported. As it is when the error occured for me All I got was the DNN error screeen with no text. Took me the batter part of a day to find out I needed to FTP it instead of Publish it.

Hey side note: Great product love it whether I FTP or Publish is of little difference to me for now.

P.S. If a Microsoft Team member stumbles accross this. Add a "Precompile" option to the publish dialog. Whether my code is precompiled is a decision I should be able to make insted of having to go around the IDE to FTP it from ther OS.
