Hi Dotnetpuke,

the introduction of SolPartMenuProvider 05.00.00 with DNN5 introduced some breaking news that prevent the Blog module menus to work fine. You can however access the Module Options using the workaround I displayed in this post.

I can cope with playing "chase the menu round the screen", however the import/export menu items seem to have dissappeared from DNN5 blog module. How can I access import to import my old blog data?

Hi Paul,

the import/export feature of the module were automatically detected by DNN4 and the corresponding menu items were added at render time. This seems to be changed going to DNN5. I'll check if I find a quick workaround to access the features in another way.

The issue with the jumping menu has been fixed, by the way.

I'm using DNN 5.0.01 install, and still the module menu jumps around the page, so I don't think it's fixed.  Unless there is an updated Blog Module that fixed the problem which isn't released yet???

Hi Rick,

yes, the fix is in the module Blog's codebase, not in the DotNetNuke framework's codebase. It will be available with the next version release.
