Thanks posting this.

The issue is this, there is an extra CSS definition in default.css:

font-family:Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica;
font-size:11px;
font-weight:normal;
}
 
That overwrites your CSS.
 
This has been logged in gemini before (I cannot find now, will try to find it later)

That did it. I removed that from the default.css and all is good. I will keep working on DNN5 skins and post my findings.

Can you tell us how you went about finding that? Perhaps we can helps ourselves next time.

I installed the skin on 4.9 and on 5.0 then I compared the parsed skins.

The ascxs are the same.

So I checked the rendered HTML which was the same too.

Then there is only one thing left: CSS, so as always "Firebug" helped me find the issue.

Seems like a lot of work this way, but I think it took me about 10 minutes.
