this looks like the search indexer is not running properly. check the search indexing job to be active in Host :: Scheduler and set Scheduler Mode in Host Settings to "Request mode".

search indexer seems to be OK and Scheduler Mode is set to "Request Mode"...

schedulre

Can it be the failed update to DotNetNuke 5? Normally I restored the whole database and all my files...

is there still one (and only one) page with the Search results module in your site?

Yes, if I manually give in the URL it shows me some search results...( http://www.dev.cantillana.com/SearchResults/tabid/37/language/nl-NL/Default.aspx?Search=badigeon )
I added an own module to the search page so I could implement my own search module... but this worked before.

What is the result if you run this query against your db? EXEC [GetSearchResultModules] 0

I just need to run this on my DotNetNuke-database? It executes succesfully but it returns nothing...

In the sql query above, you need to replace "0" with the portal ID you are working with.  Looks like your dev site (dev.cantillana.com) is portal 3; however, the URL for SearchResults you indicated has tabID=37 suggesting that is for portal "0".

TabID=37 is the default location for the SearchResults module on a standard install for portal 0.

I'm going to assumed that you ran the query using portal 3, got no results meaning you have no SearchResults module for that portal and therefore your search don't work at all.  This would explain why you stay in the same page after clicking search on the skin.

If you got to the SearchResults page and got no search results, then that's another separate problem which Sebastien is trying to help you with.

Even if I ran the query EXEC [GetSearchResultModules] 3 it's empty... So I don't have a SearchResults module? Can I just add it somewhere or how does this work?

Really appreciate your help! Many thanks...

You need to have a search results module to display search results.
