I have tried to install DotNetNuke 5.0 in two different computers:

Windows XP Professional & SQL Server 2005

Windows 2003 Server & SQL Server 2005

No any problem during installation, all steps were completed, but when I tried to start DotNetNuke I had the following error (in the both computers)

"The control collection cannot be modified during databind, Init, Load, PreRender or Unload phase"

So, it seems as proiblem inside DotNetNuke

Upgrade or non-upgrade, tried a clean install?
Did you select a skin when you installed?

Got any telerik components installed? Which case:

New Install , no upgrade. Typical Installation, no "custom" options. No any additional components, only DNN 5 installation file.

I have fixed it myself. I have rebuild entire DNN site (installation files) by Visual Studio 2008, located in same computer. After this I was able to restart Installation and no problem anymore.

Beats me (a new one), only suggestion I can make is try clearing cache/cookies (which probably won't work) and try restarting IIS. Also check your permissions. Someone else may have other suggestions.

p.s. Make sure AJAX is installers on your machines.
