Hello,

I´m very frustrated: On our company web (http://www.km-foliografics.de/kmf) you can see that page "Impressum" is correct. Change you to page "Produkte" the see that the ContentPane in the center is growing a little bit.

Now I inserted "Startseite" and put my text in. On the right side you see the LINKS and the NEWS-Modul. The ContentPane in the center is shrinked and the right column is growing. Now my sid is complete messed up.

I try much to do, but nothing worked. The files for the Skin/Container you found at http://www.km-foliografics.de/KMFv2.zip

I hope someone can help me

Greetings Michael

The whole skin is tables, which grow with their content. none of them is limited in width.

if you set the width of the main table:

<table class="table">

to 1024 px for instance you should be fine

Hi Michael

Please let us know the following, in order to better help you:

  1. What browser are you experiencing the problem in:
    1. I've checked in Mozilla FireFox 3.0.5 - Does not do it
    2. Then checked in IE7 and it does do it
  2. How familiar are you with DotNetNuke (DNN) / (X)HTML / CSS?
    1. If you're a beginner, try going through the Skinning Guides, available for download on this site.
    2. If you know your way around and are coming unstuck, download the IE Web Developer Toolbar, or the FireFox Web Developer Tool Add-On.  These are good tools to help you isolate the problem.

I downloaded your Files, and just by looking at them, you have a long way to go.  I started getting into it, to try help, but helping you at this stage would mean doing it for you, and that's not how you learn.  The best place for you to start is by looking at and studying other skins.  Your skin is going to keep giving you the same hassles until you utilize CSS a little more.  Have a look at the default DNN skin that comes with 4.9.1 (MinimalExtropy), or purchase a skin off the DNN market place or other DNN Skin stores.  There are some other free skin resources, but none worth mentioning.
