Hi Fekadu,

sorry, may be I was not clear, or I didn't tell it at all. That has to be fixed into the container that is appled to the blog. You may find it as an .ascx file into the /containers folder.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Thanks for posting a fix.  I had this issue (DNN 5.0.1 and Blog 3.5.0).  The container had a simple dnn:ACTIONS control declaration, but it worked just fine on most modules.  It failed for the Blog module (and also the Admin | Skins module, maybe others).  Any guess why it works for some and not others?

I'm asking because I'm about to upgrade a site with many more portals, and I don't want to have to modify all the containers by hand...

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,

in the specific case of the Blog module the issue is with the menu actions having wrong IDs. I upgraded the codebase, and the fix will be available in the next version. I don't know if other modules are affected by the same defect.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

The exception will not arise anymore, however the menu dropdown may become tricky and you will need some time to catch it jumping around the page. I will work to find a fix for this issue too.

Works but is sure hard to catch.

Hi Ashields,

you can alter the querystring to access the Module Options page. The other menu items are available in other places in the module. We hope the fix will be delivered soon anyway.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
