Hello all,

I am kinda new to DNN and I am facing a major issue. I need to have 6 blog views from the 6 user blogs I have created. I can place the multiple blog modules on the page but they all reference the same blog when I place them on the page. I change the "Personal Blog Page" to the blog and it changes all the modules.

I need to show the top 4 entries per blog user on the main page...

Any help is really much appreciated! Thanks.

Hi Craig,

the Personal Blog Page setting is a tabmodule setting, this means that all the module instances of the blog module created in the same page will share it. Thus it is not possible to have multiple instances with differente Personal Blog Page settings on the same page. You can however use other solutions to accomplish your task, the best I found is using different XML modules that consume each parent blog's feed. Let me know if you need further help in this.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Ahh that idea is perfect, I had never thought of using the XML feeds.

Thank you so much, you saved me hours of time.

Hi Craig,

you will most probably need an xslt transformation file to parse the rss feeds. If you want mine, just drop me an email at dario.rossa at dotnetnuke-italia.it and I will be sending it to you.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
