Have a Gallery module in one of my pages (Admin - Edit mode) and when I try to add album, file (et al) it redirects me to a URL like below. Problem is that IIS 7 doesn't seem to like the space (NOTE) between the "path" and "currentstrip". On my other site, this space appears as a plus sign (+) instead. But both of them results in HTTP 404 (file not found) error.

Please advice

If you are attempting to use the only publicly released Gallery version 3.00.12 and a DNN version 4.x site, the 404 error is to be expected. That version improperly builds its urls when the album path is empty as it is for the top level album causing the space to appear in the url. A possible work around is to disable the use of friendly urls in Host --> Host Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Friendly URL Settings : Use Friendly URLs. Better advice is to not attempt to use this version in a DNN 4.x or 5.x site. Under no condition should that version be used on a live, public facing production site.

A new version of the Gallery which corrects this issue and many others had been submitted to the DNN release tracker testing process but failed in several areas. The Gallery project team has already fixed several of the issues that were raised in testing and working on several other issues. We will make every effor to correct the issues and resubmit the module for further testing as soon as possible. At this time, we cannot estimate when the new version of the Gallery module will be available for public release.

Thanks for the reply.

Just wondering, is there a work around with maybe a URL friendly rewrite entry?

Also noticed that in the case of the root folder which produces either a plus sign or a space in the path, when you replace it with a word (or letter) then it works. For as long as that term you used is not an existing album (name/title) of course (otherwise the actions will be made on that album). Just wanted to share.

Hope you come up with the working release soon coz this is really a useful module especially for community sites.
