This is my first attempt at installing DotNetNuke. I have worked in the past with Dreamweaver, Fusion and Frontpage and have set up test sites using Drupal and Joomla and have set up numerous script applications on my server.

This was a clean install. I am loading this on shared (clustered) hosting environment. I tried it twice with the same results.

I can get to the install page and get through the first couple of screens like checking permissions. After entering the DB information it goes to a page that I believe said it was loading scripts. This locks into a loop which after over 16 hours was still running and had created a 500MB size for the database.

If I try to go to the website, I get a screen that says that website is not in the database.

I would like to try DotNetNuke and see if it will work for my needs. Any suggestions on how to actually get a working installation accomplished?

Thanks
