In fact, the site I had a link to is the old one. I am developing a new one based on DNN 3.2.2.

So I need to create a custom page and add the registration and login to it right? Can I do so from DNN itself or creating a custom module or so?

Thanks,

There is a user account module - it's already there. Drop that into the page and make that the registration page. Have you tried that.

I didn't try that, I will do so hoepfully in the evening.

Is the account module for both registration and login? I guess two different pages right?

I did before a custom login/registration you can check it at: http://www.devconnect.net

But for this project no need for any custom stuff, the problem is just a matter of showing a nice registration/login page.

Thanks a lot Nina.

Wow, seems like you can do these things in a snap!! That is a fair bit of information on that login page.

The account login provides just the small account login box -which can be placed anywhere on the site and the User Account module is in fact the registration module that you can also place on a page.

In the admin/settings/advanced you can in fact select the pages you want displayed for certain functions - eg.. the Login Page for example.

I did play around with these things for a while but had some results I found a little confusing so ended up putting them all back to non specified. I don't know what I had done wrong but it was all over the shop.  But it was late at night - like many of these silly things I try when I come up with an idea and I see things in DNN that I think should make sense.. What I'm saying is that it didn't quite give me the result I was expecting.

Thanks Nina, they are called Account Login and User Account. I will place them on two pages and see if this works as I want.

What do you think of the devconenct website? Your feedback is quite important to me.

Thanks again Nina
