I read the manual and have my home page ready to publish.  So, here's a really dumb question--how do I make my site visible to others?  If I go to my site, there's nothing there.  I am confused.  Any guidance would be appreciated.  thanks.

Did you add the external address (that your visitors are using) as portal alias?

Did you install DotNetNuke in web site root?

Does your name server and IIS point the Domain to the proper Web Site?

My host is godaddy and I am trying to work through the portal alias issue now.  Godaddy won't let me install dnn in the root file so I followed manual instructions to do all that and am getting error message related to portal alias.

Ok, I made some progress and am getting this error message when I try to configure the database connection.

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 16
Number: 2714
Message: There is already an object named 'bobbysGetDatabaseVersion' in the database.

One version is in my database folder and one version is in the tables folder beneath it.  How do I fix this?
