All modules from a DNN site suddenly just disappeared.  The site navigation is still in tact, the site has been live for weeks without any problems and nothing new was done, database if fine.  All content modules on all pages suddenly just disappears!  This is really odd and bringing back doubts about te robustness of DNN.  Any ideas? Anyone?

  • if this happens for a logged in user only: make sure, he is in view or edit mode
  • if this happens for al users, restart the application and check caching and compression settings

Hi,

What kind of DNN release are you using? Did you install a new release just recently? Are the modules not viewable for the host portal whether you're logged in or not? Maybe your host portal has already expired. I think you need to change the expiry date and check if the disappeared modules came back. This case happens when a portal expires.
