Back to 3.x or 4.x earlier version, I could search in Chinese. Now I could not do it any more. Which store procedure should I look to get it work?

Thanks

Hy

which version are you on? Check the searchWords table, to get to know, what has been indexed.

Sebastian Leupold,

I see the issues. The words are in the searchWord table. Several Chinese characters are stored in the table. If I search all characters, it works. For instance, if I search "小提琴教室" which is stored in the table, it works. But if I search one or two characters "小提琴", it will not work.

Thanks

Hy

Hy,

AFAIR there is a default for minimum word length set to 3 by default. you should be able to override it in Host :: Search Settings, but need to clear and reindex the search tables afterwards.
