Sizes sound reasonable, if there are not more than a few hundred records in schedulehistory and Eventlog, the data does not seem to be an issue. Does your server has enough RAM, SQL Server requires 1 GB for its own.

are you running both SQL server and IIS on the same machine? How much memory is SQL server using, how much memory are the IIS worker process using? How much application pools are you running?

mind you: 1GB ram for a server is cutting is rather minimal....

yes i am running both SQL and IIS on same machine, SQL server memory usage varies from 300000k to 5000000k and ISS server is negligible

and no other applications running
