either the SQL statement is too complex or the server too slow - or the db transaction log is extremly large and needs to be truncated.

I cleared the log file, shrinked the database and files and i also executed following in SQL

dbcc SHRINKDATABASE(DEVELOPMENT_DNN_DB, 0, TRUNCATEONLY)
backup log DEVELOPMENT_DNN_DB TO DISK ='f:\DEVELOPMENTDNN_TEST' WITH formAT, NAME='DEVELOPMENTDNN_TEST'
dbcc SHRINKDATABASE(DEVELOPMENT_DNN_DB, 0, TRUNCATEONLY)
backup log TRM_DNN_DB TO DISK ='f:\DEVELOPMENTDNN_TEST' WITH formAT, NAME='DEVELOPMENTDNN_TEST'
DBCC SHRINKFILE (DEVELOPMENT_DNN_DB_log, 0)
