Hey All,

I have an issue with my installation of DotNetNuke 4.09.00 in that I am trying to add a rule through the Friendly URL part of the Host Menu.

Here's my issue, I'm simply trying to redirect or remotely pull the content from one URL to another. Here's the syntax I'm using:

Match                             Replace With
.*/spring                        ~/Default.aspx?tabid=56

For some reason, it is updating the siteurls.config file, as I can see it on the server, but it's not showing it when I go to:
www.example.com/spring

Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
John

If order for that to work you'll have to setup the Wildcard mapping for ISAPI in IIS.

you can add a wildcard, point to the aspnet DLLs (like the settings for the ASPX extension) but uncheck the verify file exists option.

Otherwise IIS assumes spring is a folder on the file system and can't see it. You need to tell IIS that the ASP.NET process should handle all requests.
