Hello, I have been working with this install for a few months and started having issues but can not figure out where to being the fix.  For some reason the Database is creating NetworkIO erros most of the time when I try to update or load Core Modules.(ex Admin site setting, Recycle bin)  The site has been running pretty well on Sql 2000 but now have a lot more pages on the site than before so not sure if the 3,000 plus pages add would create a problem.  I am look more at if any one has had this issue with NetworkIO waittype or now seeing CXPacket Waittypes after my DBA ran some index update last night.  The DBA is blaming DNN but it has been running great before the mass adding of pages.  Could the database be courputed in some way?

This is the error I get from trying to update Site Setting

This is the error that I am seeing in SQL.  Which is why the timeout from above is happening.

This is another Strange error in SQL where Temp systables are getting locked with the main DNN database.  Most of the time the SPID is related on all of the locks that are in the table.

Sorry for the large Images.

First, you should upgrade to DotNetNuke 4.9.2 for security reasons. There might also have been improvements in speed for tab management.

next, clean your database: Truncate database transaction log, truncate tables eventlog, sitelog, scheduleHistory, SearchTables - and retry.

Thanks for the Reply and information Sebastian, I have Truncated the database logs, eventlogs, and sitelog, schedulehistory.  I am using my own search engine so have remove DNN search from skins and schedule.  I have copied the database to another box so I can try the upgrade approach to see if that makes a difference and doing some upgrades to the Database itself.  Just trying to understand if anyone else has seen these type of errors inside of SQL before and how they have handled it in the past.

Well I setup a test site to see what happends when I upgrade to 4.9.2 and it is still not working correctly.  The site settings and recyle bin is not loading for some reason just recieving the NetwokIO lock in SQL.  Has anyone else had an issue running SQL 2000 SP 4 with SPID getting locked?  Thanks Chris
