With VS 2005 Pro and VS 2008 Pro installed, installed DNN 4.9.2 Starter kit. All four templates were chosen and the installation completed successfully. The DotNetNuke Compile Module template is shown for both VS editions. No other DNN templates are shown, in particular the project templates. Zip archives for all templates exist in the Templates subdirectories for both VS editions. Why aren't the project templates available? Is there a manual procedure I can use to install the missing templates?

Have tried running devenv /installvstemplates from command prompt for both VS editions. Have checked the location of the templates folders in Options/Projects and Solutions. Have tried changing the language in Environment/International Settings. Have run Import and Exports Settings Wizard and selected Reset All Settings. No progress.

Having the same problem --I had first installed ver 5 starter kit, then installed 4.9 starter kit. The install worked without problems overwriting the v.5 templates yet the v4.9 templates are not showing up in Visual Studio 2005 after clicking New Web Site and setting language to VB. All the zip files are there.

Thanks,

Nick
